Learn the basics of growing vegetables in pots, including site selection, possibilities for pots, making potting mixes and choosing what to grow for spring, summer and fall enjoyment. Join Parks Conservancy staff at the Schenley Plaza Gardens for these regularly scheduled group volunteer events! Volunteers work with our gardeners to weed, deadhead, and mulch. Projects vary by season. Tools, gloves and training are provided.
Join us and our Ambassadors, Cheryl and Louise, as we begin the implementation of an intergenerational space that will serve as a place the people can relax, laugh, and play.We will be Cleaning and clearing for the installation of amenities for the site. **SORRY REGISTRATION IS CLOSED FOR THIS COURSE Tree Tenders take a 7 hour course and learn about urban forestry practices, tree biology and health, proper planting, pruning, and maintenance, and lead their communities in organizing tree plantings and tree care. Due to the nature of this course, we prefer
