Livability Solutions Green Infrastructure Workshop
March 7, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pmFree
The Center for Neighborhood Technology (CNT) has developed a way for communities to cost-effectively scale up green infrastructure in developed urban areas as well as a tool that quantifies co-benefits of green infrastructure. Join GTECH and One Northside for a technical workshop on Green Infrastructure Tools presented by Hal Sprague, Water Policy Manager at CNT. Topics will include how to cost-effectively scale up green infrastructure with the Green Portfolio Standard and quantify co-benefits of green infrastructure with the Green Infrastructure Valuation Guide, a broad analysis that is the first to place an economic value on the numerous benefits provided by green infrastructure.
Audience: Non-profits, public agencies, municipalities, community groups, and anyone else that is interested in green stormwater infrastructure.
Cost: Free. Lunch will be provided
Assistance provided by CNT with grant support to the Project for Public Spaces from US EPA’s Office of Sustainable Communities under their Building Blocks for Sustainable Communities Program.
